Common Nissan Maintenance Questions

We recommend changing the engine oil in your vehicle every 3,750 to 7,500 miles (depending on model) in order to keep your engine performing like new. Another deciding factor on how frequently you should replace your engine oil is your driving style and the weather conditions you're driving in. For example, your Nissan vehicle should get its motor oil replaced more frequently during the cold Ohio winters than in the summer. You can also go to Section 9 of your owner's manual to read a full explanation of the types of maintenance as well as the time intervals when the services should be performed.

Simply visit one of our Nissan dealerships and go to the Parts Department to request for a duplicate key to be made.

If you've accidentally lost or misplaced your owner's manual and your vehicle is a 2007, 2006, 2005 or 2004 model, simply contact Nissan Consumer Affairs at (800) NISSAN-1 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm EST. If your Nissan is a 2003 or older, you can call Dyment Distribution Monday through Friday at (800) 247-5321 between the hours of 8am and 8pm, EST.

Yearly updates to your mapping software are available on DVD from NAVTEQ. The process is easy. Simply select the model and year of your vehicle, choose the update product that's right for your system and complete your order.
