MOST STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES IN ITS CLASS
Part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Safety Shield 360 includes features that monitor in front of you, behind you, and on either side, and can step in to help keep you out of trouble. You'll be surrounded with confidence at all times. All 2021 TITAN Lineup trims include the following features:
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and distance between you and the car ahead, and can let you know if you need to slow down and can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. And when it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can stop you in your tracks.
Rear Automatic Braking
The 2020 Titan comes standard with Rear Automatic Braking which watches directly behind you for stationary items you might not see. If it detects something and you fail to stop, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity of an impact.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
When you’re backing out of a space, our class-exclusive standard Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your Titan and can warn you about cars it detects coming up on you from either side.
Blind Spot Warning
It's like having an extra set of eyes. Was that a car over there? The 2020 Titan comes with a class-exclusive standard Blind Spot Warning system that keeps an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.
Lane Departure Warning
Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If the system detects that you’re drifting over, it’ll warn you.
High Beam Assist
High Beam Assist can automatically activate your high beams when you need them, and deactivate them if an oncoming vehicle is detected. Which automatically makes you a more polite driver.
WHAT THE CRITICS SAY
“It’s a pleasurable experience, driving the new 2020 Nissan Titan. The direct-injected V8 engine is quiet and refined, with enough power on tap to make freeway onramps a relaxed affair, even while towing a 5,000-pound trailer carrying a couple of quads.” - KBB.com
“The course provided was no challenge at all for the Titan, which felt like it could’ve handled a much more strenuous off-pavement workout.”- Cars.com
DRIVER ASSISTANCE FEATURES
Available advanced technology on the 2020 Titan adds convenience to every journey making you more confident behind the wheel.
Advanced Drive-Assist® Display
Enjoy your choice of 12 screens on the full-color 7” Advanced Drive-Assist Display, nestled between your gauges. Safety features, directions, fuel economy, and more will be at your fingertips.
Off-Road Status & Auxiliary Gauges
With simple-to-read graphics, you can see whether your Titan is in 2wd, 4-hi, or 4-low, as well as checking key vehicle data like engine temperature or oil pressure.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Spot a leak or dial in your traction using TMPS, which shows you the tire pressure (PSI) of each individual tire.
Intelligent Cruise Control
Available Intelligent Cruise Control also helps keep an adjustable set distance between you and the car in front. As traffic slows down or speeds up, Intelligent Cruise Control responds accordingly.
Traffic Sign Recognition
Unsure of the speed limit of the current street? Available Traffic Sign Recognition keeps you up to date with the latest speed limit by detecting road signs as you go.
Front/Rear Parking Sensors
Front and rear parking sensors that give an audible alert that increases in frequency as you get nearer to a fixed object. No more wondering how close you are to the vehicle in front of or behind you.
