Luxurious aspects of the interior include Liquid Chrome faceted trim accents, Alcantara® inserts on the seats and steering wheel, and distinctive diamond-quilted seat stitching. Created by Nissan Design America in La Jolla, California, the 2022 Maxima returns as the flagship sedan of the Nissan brand with an aggressive exterior appearance. Continuing the visionary Nissan Intelligent Mobility philosophy, the Maxima comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360 -- a collection of six advanced active safety and driver-assistive technologies. Performance, style, and comfort have remained core strengths of the Nissan Maxima for four decades. Now it's your turn to experience what it means to drive the 4-Door Sports Car®.

What the Critics Say

“On the road, the Maxima's V6 seldom leaves you yearning for more power. Nissan says 0-to-60 mph time takes less than six seconds. From a stop and in the midrange, power is willing to provide passing punch, and the transmission does a good job of sidestepping the drawbacks that are common with CVTs.” - Autotrader

“Beyond the Maxima's sharp design and bold grille, you'll find a comfortable cabin with intuitive controls, stylish trim and, in the case of the SR trim level, a combination of leather upholstery, simulated-suede seat inserts and contrasting orange stitching.”- Edmunds

What’s new for 2022?
